A QA case study

This site tests itself

Automated tests check this portfolio three times a week, on desktop and on mobile: that every page loads without errors, that links work, that the Spanish and English versions say the same thing, and that it meets WCAG 2.1 AA in both themes. They also check the site of every project I link to: that search engines can find it and that it looks right when shared. And every day, another suite checks the domain from the outside: DNSSEC, DMARC, CAA, certificates, and redirects.

Its first run caught four contrast failures and tables you couldn't scroll with a keyboard. All fixed.

Torneo Volleyball 2026 API

A public REST API with the tournament's real data: set-by-set results, the FIVB standings with every tiebreak explained, and the final-phase podium. Its standings and podium must match the live platform's, and a test checks that.

ScrumGames

Ten activities for a Scrum team's retrospectives, from 10 to 60 minutes, in Spanish and English. In most of them, everyone joins from their phone or computer with a code, answers, and votes, and the top-voted topics become commitments with an owner. Each activity has its own 3D scene with the team in it: a wheel, a sprint trial, a medal gala, an auction house, a roller coaster, and more. No accounts: if someone loses their connection or switches devices, they pick up right where they left off.

• 10 activities, 3 to 15 people in real time
• Rooms are deleted automatically after 15 days
• Every write validated in the database

Living Atlas · Panama's Biodiversity

Questions in Spanish, typed or spoken, that a language model turns into SQL over a real GBIF database. The answer is drawn on a map of Panama, with photos and recordings of the sightings. It started as a Database Systems II project and now runs in the cloud.

Every project follows the same order, whether it's a website, an app, or a test plan. We decide first and I build second, so nothing gets redone.

   A conversation about the problem you want to solve, who it's for, and when you need it.

   You get A written summary and a proposal with what's included and what isn't.

   Decide

   Before any code, we agree on the content, the flows, or the risks, and you see how it will look.

   You get A one-page brief and a mockup or plan to approve.

   Build and test

   I work in weekly cycles. Every week you see something working, and automated tests ship with the code.

   You get A preview link and a short update every week.

4. 4

   Deliver

   We launch on a weekday, everything stays in your name, and I show you how to use it.

   You get Your logins, a short guide, a 30-day bug warranty, and four weekly sessions for tweaks.
